AV's Roots

Located in the culturally rich city of San Antonio, Texas is the Alamo Mission, the chosen namesake of Alamo Varieties. Dating from the 1700's and older than the United States itself, this fort is a symbol of strength, solidarity, and Texas history. As a proud Texan and owner of Alamo Varieties, it is my hope that you will look at Alamo Varieties as not just a business, but a celebration of history, of individual creativity, and the American Dream.

Proudly Texan, Proudly Homemade

Alamo Varieties was born in July in the colonial German town of New Braunfels, Texas, thirty miles or so from San Antonio’s famous Alamo Mission. As the creator of this web-based store, I am proud to say that I am one of the many small business owners living the American Dream today. Through both unique and not-so-unique challenges, and with the encouragement and aid of family and friends, this business was built from the ground up. As the sole owner and employee of Alamo Varieties, I invite you to browse this website to your heart’s content, and please don’t hesitate to send me an email if you have a question or comment. Thank you for your support!

What AV Sells

This shop has variety in its name for a reason. Antiques, jewelry, and handtools are just a few of the things I offer. As a seller with omniverous taste, I source my inventory from a diversity of places, both locally and abroad. As a result, Alamo Varieties is a revolving door of unique items: of the unusual, and the beautiful; of the sought-after, and the obscure. No matter what you are looking for -- apparel, home goods, media, art, or something else -- Alamo Varieties is sure to have something to catch your eye, because you can always find unique here!
